Everywhere you go in this part of Arizona, it seems spirit activity runs medium to high (on my own “Sus-ometer Scale”). This is likely because the entire area (including homes and business) is built over Native American land, including original villages, sacred burial grounds, and sites of very bloody settler and native battles.
I often hear echoing footsteps in the store and a muffled woman’s voice. This happens a few feet away from me, with no visible source or possible explanation. Recently, I learned that one of the store’s employees, an older woman, passed away suddenly a few weeks before I started working there. I wonder if it could be her. I would like to investigate further. Unfortunately, there has been too much frenetic sales activity at the store, preventing me from opening up to spirit to find out more. Not to mention the fact nobody there has been told that I am a Medium, at least not to my knowledge. I hope sometime I can find out who the spirit woman is, and especially what she “needs” from the living.
One day I had a customer asking me to help her put together an outfit. I immediately sensed a male energy standing just above her right shoulder. The customer then told me the outfit she needed to buy was for her brother’s funeral — scheduled for the next day. As her grief came rushing toward me (energetically speaking), her brother appeared next to her. He was clearly formed, grayish, with head, arms and torso. He pointed at his right side and smiled. I heard the word “cancer” clearly from him and I felt the eating away of his body from it.
Instinctively, I told my customer, “Cancer is so unfair and so awful — how it ravages the body, and I am very sorry for your loss.” She thanked me, and told me that lung cancer had wasted her brother away to skin and bones. I replied, “Yes, but he is whole now and continues to love you and appreciate you.” She smiled at me through tears in her eyes.
It wasn’t until the woman had purchased her outfit and was about to leave the store that she turned to me. With her hand balled up against her heart and tears shining in her eyes, she asked, “How did you know my brother had cancer?” I just wished her well. She spontaneously hugged me, there, in the middle of the store.
For about three weeks, a male spirit has been following me around the store saying, “Brother. I am her brother.” I was clocking out at the end of my shift the other day. Again, I heard the male spirit say “Brother.”
Immediately I did quick prayers of protection silently, in my mind. Then I turned around, and I saw the spirit’s outline standing next to a fellow employee. So I started making small talk with her…asked if she had a brother.
She said yes; he lived in another State. Then I said, “And you have another brother no longer with you?” She said, “My God, yes, I do, but it’s too painful to think of him.” Aha! That’s why he wanted my attention. “I said, you know, I sense things. And I feel strongly that your brother doesn’t want you to feel sad when you think of him. He’s with you a lot, and he wants you to feel happy.”
She looked at me like I was a little bit crazy…Then she said that she lost her mother as well. Instantly I felt pain in my chest, and told her I knew how her mother had passed — something in her heart very suddenly. It was like the White Light turned on then. With that evidence — proof of how her mother passed — this woman could believe me when I said that her brother was right there with her. She seemed very relieved then. She promised to “talk” to her brother and remember the joy of having him in her life.
